About Dan
Dan Petersen serves as a Business Unit Director at Advanced Technology Leaders. He is responsible for the oversight of a diverse portfolio of government contracts across the Florida Gulf Coast in support of the US Navy and US Air Force as well as Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts in support of US Army Centers of Excellence.
He has over 30 years of management and leadership experience in progressively higher roles. His experience is a result of a 22-year military career as US Army Combat Engineer followed by transitioning to government contracting in roles ranging from the Project Management to the Director Level.
His formal education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Management from American Military University and a Master of Business Administration from Walden University where he is all but dissertation in pursuit of a Doctorate in Business Administration.
His specialized education includes professional development courses at Harvard Business School, the Defense Acquisition University, and the Federal Acquisition Institute.
